Scope of Application
1.Cases where only cancer genome sequencing was previously conducted but treatment outcomes were suboptimal.
2.Patients seeking a more comprehensive understanding of their cancer genomic changes to explore new treatment strategies for improved effectiveness.
3.Cancer patients interested in enhancing their treatment with herbal medicine.
Testing Purpose
By sequencing the cancer transcriptome (or expression profile), this analysis reveals differences in genomic function between cancer and normal cells, identifying cancer-specific gene expressions, unique RNA splicing events, cancer-specific fusion genes, cancer-associated microorganisms, and changes within the tumor microenvironment. These insights are critical to patient treatment outcomes and survival. Our company uses RNA sequencing of both cancer tissues and surrounding normal tissues to identify unique cancer-related variations in individual cases. We then compare these findings with key cancer databases, such as the U.S. “Cancer Genome Atlas,” to identify survival-related genes. Leveraging our proprietary methods, we consult our herbal medicine database to identify herbal treatments that target these genes, providing tailored options for clinical use.
In addition, transcriptome sequencing analyzes the real-time functional changes in the cancer genome, reflecting immediate shifts in constitution. Detailed transcriptome analysis not only determines if genomic functions are operating correctly but also tracks the effects of environmental changes, diet, or personal lifestyle habits on genomic function. The results support precise personalized constitution management, including tailored herbal constitution adjustments.
